There are 2 songs on this CD that deal with death and they are both in 3/4 time signature.
Polly Knighton, my mother in law, of Eclectic, AL. was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1997. After 20 years of marriage to her daughter, she finally thought I was ok. I just wanted her to know that I could do anything for her.
"I Am The Man" We miss you Polly.

My Buddy Rick Montgomery was diagnosed with cancer in and died in 2002. That along with the 911 tragedy 2001 proved to be a very bad year. I originally tried to tie these 2 events into the lyric but it just didn't turn out that way in the end. Rick played guitar in my first traveling club band. Hollowpoint. We stayed in contact via snail mail for years. We didn't really like email when it came along, I think we liked writing letters to each other. This song for Rick's family seems like a good ender to my cd. See you down the road Rick.
